Eduardo Margallo

CHAIRMAN, CEO


Eduardo has over 10 years experience in the launch and management of photonics technology companies. Co-founder and former CEO and COO of MedLumics S.L., he led the company through two rounds of VC financing (€3.5M and €34M), the market launch of a class II medical device and initial human trials of an image guided catheter. Eduardo holds M.Sc. level degrees in Telecommunication Eng. from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in Electrical Eng. from the University of Stuttgart and in Physics from UNED. He also has a PhD in Photonics from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from IE Business School and Brown University.

Grégory Pandraud

DIRECTOR, VP OF RESEARCH


Grégory is an international expert with more than 20 years experience in optical devices. Prior to joining Ommatidia-Lidar, Grégory was process development manager and assistant professor at the Technical University of Delft (the Netherlands). Before joining TU Delft, Grégory was with Bookham Technology ltd (U.K.) and later with Opsitech SA (France) as senior design manager. He received a Ph.D. in optics and optoelectronics from the University of Saint Étienne (France).

Jose Luis Rubio

director, VP OF SOFTWARE & AI


Jose Luis has more than 15 years experience in advanced imaging algorithms for photonics-based systems. Founder and former CTO of MedLumics, he is co-inventor of the first fully integrated optical coherence tomography platform, with applications in dermatology and cardiology. Jose Luis holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and received the MIT prize for Innovators under 35.

Inmaculada Uzquiano Camino

Financial Manager


Professional with over 25 years of experience in finance and business management, supporting the growth of startups and non-profit organizations across Europe. Holds Bachelor's degree in Finance, Auditing, and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid (CUNEF), a postgraduate degree in Auditing and Accounting from the University of Alcalá de Henares, and an MBA in E-Business from IE Business School. She also collaborates as a Business Coach for the H2020 program by EASME (European Union).

Eladio Montoya Redondo

Sales Manager


Seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in business development, testing & certification, and aerospace/Big Science sectors across Europe. Holds a PhD in Physics (specialising in solid-state lasers) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an MBA. He has driven growth and market entry for technology-intensive services in companies such as ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD Group (where he leads Equipment & Certification Business Development) and earlier at firms including Saint‑Gobain ISOVER, Thales Alenia Space and others. Eladio combines deep technical knowledge with commercial acumen, specialising in harsh-environment electronics, radiation testing, functional safety and New Space requirements. He is adept at managing cross-border industrialisation projects, forging strategic partnerships and navigating regulatory frameworks for aerospace and Big Science infrastructures.
