ICSV31 2025 exhibition questions

Revisit Ommatidia’s Q2 demonstration and the measurement workflows it brought to the international sound and vibration community.

When and where did ICSV31 take place?

The 31st International Congress on Sound and Vibration took place at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, Republic of Korea, from 6 to 11 July 2025. The exhibition ran from 7 to 9 July.

What did Ommatidia present at ICSV31?

Ommatidia presented Q2 parallel Laser RADAR for non-contact vibration measurement. Q2 captures 65 optical velocity channels simultaneously at 40 kHz, preserving phase across the active measurement field.

What does parallel full-field vibrometry reveal?

Synchronized velocity data exposes resonances, operating shapes, phase relationships and localized response across a structure. Spatial scanning extends the measured field into dense geometry-linked vibration maps.

Which applications benefit from the Q2 workflow?

Q2 supports acoustic and NVH analysis, modal testing, rotating-machinery diagnostics, structural dynamics and long-range monitoring. Ommatidia can configure the optical coverage, references and engineering outputs around the test objective.
