In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Daniel Rixen’s team, Q2 successfully captured vibration signatures associated with abdominal aortic aneurysms — without touching the patient. Designed for industrial precision but adapted for biomedical needs, Q2 delivered sub-mm/s sensitivity, 3D point-cloud geometry, and rapid scan times, showing how photonics can bridge the gap between academic research and real-world clinical innovation.
